Universal Roofs Inc. is a licensed and insured roofing company operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area including York Region, Peel Region, Durham Region, and Halton Region. We provide professional roof repair, roof replacement, flat roofing, and skylight installation and repair services.

2. Use of Our Website

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms or requesting quotes.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website.
  • Not use the website to transmit malicious code or objectionable material.

3. Service Estimates & Quotes

  • All estimates are subject to change upon physical inspection of the property.
  • Final pricing may differ from initial estimates due to unforeseen conditions or material cost changes.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
  • A written contract will be provided before any work begins.

4. Service Agreements & Contracts

All roofing services are governed by a separate written service agreement. These Terms do not replace or override any specific terms in your service agreement.

5. Warranties

  • Workmanship Warranty: We provide a workmanship warranty on all completed projects. Terms are specified in your service agreement.
  • Manufacturer Warranties: Materials may carry separate manufacturer warranties from brands such as IKO, CertainTeed, SOPREMA, and Velux.
  • Warranty Conditions: Warranties may be voided if the roof is modified by parties other than Universal Roofs Inc., or if damage results from Acts of Nature or negligence.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are outlined in your service agreement or contract.
  • A deposit may be required before work commences.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Ontario law.
  • Unpaid balances may result in a construction lien per the Ontario Construction Act.

7. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Post-commencement cancellations may incur charges for labour and materials.
  • We may reschedule due to weather or safety concerns.

8. Limitation of Liability

Universal Roofs Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is the property of Universal Roofs Inc. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

10. User-Submitted Content

If you submit content to our website, you grant Universal Roofs Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content for business purposes.
